John Farmer was named Arkansas Catfish Farmer of the Year for 2016 at the annual convention of the Catfish Farmers of America held in Nashville, TN on February 19th. Attending the convention with him was his wife, Amy, and their two children Maggie and Ben. John has served on the boards of the Catfish Farmers of Arkansas, the Catfish Farmers of America and the National Aquaculture board.

Bill Troutt received the Catfish Farmers of Arkansas service award for the many years of dedicated service, devotion, and support of the Arkansas farm raised catfish industry. Thurman Booth received the Catfish Farmers of Arkansas service award for his many years of persistent effort in assisting the Arkansas fish farmers with bird depredation issues. Rebecca Lochmann received the Catfish Farmers of Arkansas service award for her dedication and outstanding research in catfish nutrition.

Greg Moyers was named the Arkansas Catfish Farmer of the Year for 2015 at the Catfish Farmers of America Convention held in Natchez, MS on February 28. The award was presented by Ben Pentecost, President of CFA. Greg is the Treasurer of CFAR and has two children, Garrett and Ava. Greg and his wife Meagan live in Portland, AR.
Steve Kueter, of Paragould, has been named the 2014 Arkansas Catfish Farmer of Year by the Catfish Farmers of America organization. Mr. Kueter was presented his award in New Orleans by Ben Pentecost of the CFA. He is currently the Chairman of the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board and Vice President of the CFArkansas. He has been married to Emily for 23 years. Together they have three children: Julia, Sarah and Benjamin.
